No matter what, there is always one die hard optimist, the one that never complains about the rain, but just dances in it. I think I am pretty optimistic and think my glass is half full. I am also optimistic about South Africa, mainly because I find life hard all over the world, and perhaps I am used to our hard.
But the last three weeks have been rough for an optimist. I found myself often gloomy seeing the pointless destruction of assets when there are so few asset to share.
Then there is JP Landman.
I don’t think he has a pessimistic bone in his body. Last month on a webinar, a listener challenged him to say something pessimistic and he struggled.
